Pleasant Grove Start General (AS1843221) comes to us from Craig Koopmann in Iowa. General appraised 89VEV as a 2 year old in 2019. He is maturing into a stately gentleman, and is the sire of many of our 2 year old and yearling does. He has certainly filled in and kept growing since then! We like what we see in these does - correct mammary systems with with a will to milk and proportionate body size.

SG FSF Reno Surrey 3*M

Saanen Sr. Doe (female) white

ADGA# 1855554 DOB: 4/9/20177 yrs
Surrey is a 5th freshening 6 year old in 2023. After delivering quads with ease in February, she is going head strong into this lactation. We're pretty excited that her buck kids are going to herds where they will be helping with other breeding programs. 2023 Linear Appraisal: GEEV 88 She is so reminiscent of her dam, Saratoga. 2021 was a great year for Surrey: Placing 6th at the 2021 ADGA National Show in Louisville, KY, and likely finishing her permanent CH. 2021 Linear Appraisal: VEEV 8 ...

Saffron is affectionately called the little workhorse in our barn. She does just what you want a Saanen to do: no drama, eat, make milk, and have the sweetest personality. Just 11 days fresh into her 2nd lactation in 2021, she produced over 10# milk. Saffron has been a barn favorite since she was born, and that has secured her place here for a while to come.

Saffron freshened successfully in 2022, being generous with a doe for us to keep. at 46 days in milk, she's producing over 12 pounds of milk per day.
